This coffee originates from Brazil Cerrado and it’s hands down one of the best coffees we have ever had. It is well balanced; not too strong but still full bodied with hints of chocolatey flavors upfront which give way to floral notes on its finish. For those who like their coffee sweetened there are fruity tones on top however when drank plain or black it was perfection!

Tasting Notes

Our Brazil Cerrado coffee beans deliver a beautifully balanced cup that combines smooth body with natural sweetness and subtle complexity. This coffee is an excellent example of why Brazil remains one of the most respected coffee producers in the world.

In the cup, rich chocolate tones lead the profile, offering warmth and sweetness from the first sip. As the coffee develops, delicate floral notes begin to emerge in the finish, adding a layer of refinement that makes the cup feel both smooth and expressive.

The body is full yet balanced, creating a coffee that feels satisfying without being overwhelming. When enjoyed black, the natural chocolate sweetness and soft florals create a remarkably clean and enjoyable cup. For those who prefer sweetened coffee, the profile also reveals subtle fruit tones that pair well with sugar, cream, or flavored syrups.

The result is a versatile coffee that works equally well as a comforting everyday brew or as a smooth specialty coffee experience.

Flavor Profile

Brazil Cerrado coffee is known for its smooth body and naturally sweet flavor. This particular lot opens with chocolate-forward richness that gives the cup a warm and familiar character. As the coffee settles on the palate, gentle floral tones appear in the finish, creating a refined contrast that adds depth to the experience.

Subtle fruit sweetness may also be detected depending on brewing method and personal taste, especially when the coffee is paired with sweeteners. The overall balance of sweetness, body, and aroma creates a cup that feels smooth, comforting, and complete.

Perfect For

This coffee is an excellent choice for coffee drinkers who enjoy balanced flavors with smooth body and natural sweetness. It performs beautifully in drip coffee makers and automatic brewers where its chocolate notes and gentle sweetness shine.

The coffee also works wonderfully for French press brewing where the full body becomes even more pronounced. Because of its balanced profile, it pairs nicely with milk or sweeteners while still maintaining its coffee character.

Whether enjoyed black or customized to taste, Brazil Cerrado offers a reliable and satisfying cup.

The Story Behind Brazil Cerrado Coffee

The Cerrado Mineiro region of Brazil is one of the most important coffee-growing areas in the world. Located in the state of Minas Gerais, this region benefits from a unique combination of high altitude, stable climate, and nutrient-rich soil.

These conditions allow coffee cherries to mature evenly, producing beans that are known for their balance, sweetness, and smooth body. Cerrado was the first coffee-producing region in Brazil to receive a protected designation of origin, highlighting the consistent quality of its coffee.

Brazilian coffees are often celebrated for their chocolate and nutty flavor profiles along with their low acidity and smooth mouthfeel. These qualities make Brazil Cerrado coffees incredibly versatile and widely appreciated by coffee drinkers around the world.

Fresh Roasted for Maximum Flavor

All of our coffees are roasted in small batches to ensure freshness and flavor. Roasting carefully allows the natural sweetness and balanced character of the beans to shine, delivering a smooth and enjoyable coffee experience from the first brew to the last.

This is, hands down, my wife’s favorite coffee. She comes from a place where she just drank what was cheapest and drowned it in cream, but this one, she drank it and said “what is this? It’s not bitter at all, it’s really, really good!” This might be the coffee that gets her off the cheap stuff and onto the quality coffee bandwagon!
